James is off to Scotland this week leaving David, Mat and Sean to call in their old pal Jon Denton who has a lot to say about the Invisibility vs Flight debate as well as if a PS4 pro should be stuffed into a 4K telly. David has a reason to jump back into Grand Theft Auto and Sean has trouble with XCOM 2.
This week the boys talk about Gamescom and what it means for the launch of the Xbox One X. David returns to Rainbow Six Siege, Mat has opinions on arguments that don’t involve him and James tries to convince everyone that he’s not a deviant.
Sonic is back and who better to cast their critical eye over it than our very own Dr Grumpy. Mat has an apology to make, Dave wonders who Agents of Mayhem is aimed at while Sean has returned to endless space.
There's no end to the shocks and surprises this week. From the news that August's Splatfest was RIGGED to satisfy the ketchup snowflakes, to the announcement of a partnership between two ABSOLUTE LEGENDS, it's a lively one. Also the boys talk The Witness, Mat is back on Fire Emblem, Sean is back on Tumbleseed, Dave is back on Rocket League and James is back hating correspondence from the listeners.
James finally completes Heavy Rain so the boys run through what he liked and hated about it in a spoilery segment at the end of the show. Meanwhile David gets questioned over the amount of times he’s completed Banjo Kazooie and Sean has to explain what the hell happened when he streamed with Jon Denton.
This week the boys spend a very long time talking about Splatoon 2 as well as Nintendo's approach to online play. Speaking of which, Nintendo's long-awaited online app is out and James has a lot to say about it. Not even Sean can defend it. Meanwhile David is starting to get frustrated with Mat's attempts to produce the show.
After a week full of feedback, James and David try to clarify the points made during last week's Titanfall argument. Mat keeps on doing the voice which nearly destroys a friendship and Seans dog needs to calm down a bit.
David's arguing for Tites 2, Mat's harping on about VR games, James is talking about Heavy Rain and Sean discusses Assassin's Creed: Black Flag. It's like the good ol' days.
