In classic TCGS-fashion, big news dropped literally 30 seconds after we finished last week’s show. This time it was reports of Nintendo, Sony and Xbox all reportedly skipping E3 2023, so we discuss that.
We also chat about Sony closing the door on its PlayStation Plus Collection, Sony maybe/not cutting PSVR2 production numbers, Meta losing a ton of money, loads of games being cancelled, and a rumoured Nintendo Direct being on the horizon.
Game-wise it’s much the same as last week, with more updates on Hi-Fi Rush, David’s final thoughts on Forspoken, Sean’s still playing Hitman, and James is on with Pentiment.
Also: Cheese or games, animal choices, Cruel Steve, Sean becoming more Northern, creating our own ASMR videos, and more.
Games discussed: Forspoken, GoldenEye 007, PowerWash Simulator, Hi-Fi Rush, Hitman: World of Assassination, Pentiment.

There’s a lot of news this week, but sadly very little of it is positive.

Sean, James and Mat all talk about their opening hours with Fire Emblem Engage, and David has a Sports Story update.
Also: 2023 GOTY predictions, call in shows, James or PS5, lovemaking music, underwear talk, trying out new things, and so much more.
Games discussed: Fire Emblem Engage, Sports Story.
